For Muslims, believed to be poetry or poetry as a means to express their experiences in dealing with God, with fellow human beings and the universe. At the time of the Prophet Muhammad, many friends that good at making poems to defend Islam and His Prophet in the face of the poets who discredit Islam and the Prophet Muhammad at that time. Even the existence of these poets enshrined in the Qur'an in Surat Ash SYU'ARA (Poet-Poet).

Until now in Islam, a debate that does not visit out of the unlawful and halalnya reveal the existence of the poem in beragamanya experience. But the historical facts prove that the Companions were skilled in poetry, often to defend Prophet Muhammad by creating poetry beautiful, to deny the allegations of the pagan poets who Qurais discredit Islam and the personality of Prophet Muhammad. In fact, in the book of Imam Muslim narrated haditsnya, when the Muslim army led by the Prophet Muhammad entered the city of Mecca on Makiyah Futuh events, the inhabitants of Mecca climbed onto the roof of each house, striking the drum, they write poetry:



The moon has come

From mountain Tsaniyatil Farewell

And we thank you

To call from the caller

(Muslim)


Based on these historical facts, can we conclude that the function and purpose of the making of poetry which is what distinguishes poetry including poetry category of positive and negative poetry. When the poem was made in order to mislead people from the truth, then these verses of poetry into a negative category, but on the contrary, when the poem was written in a beautiful and meaningful d and aims to encourage people to know the truth of the poem into a poem positive. So poetry is a tool that can be used for good or otherwise used for evil, that all depends on the intent and purpose of the poet.



As a Sufi spiritual experiences as told to meet his Lord, he often wore mengisahkannya with full poem full of imagery words. And usually the fruit is the work of Sufi writers is difficult to understand its meaning by a layman, therefore need mentors who are experts in the field to understand the poems by the Sufi sastrwan. Verse, rhyme or poem that is composed of a series of full words like simile and kalam is often an effective means to describe an experience. No exception spiritual experience of a Sufi poet named Masridrani Wijayakusuma in odyssey to meet his Lord, is usually difficult to be expressed with ordinary words. In these poems, a Masridrani Wijayakusuma, invite the readers and all of us, reaching the world and at the same time syimbol understand, so that we can achieve true real world. Because the world is a shadow or object from the real world zhilah true. God-even in his message in the Qur'an often uses symbolic language:



"Verily, We have repeatedly explained to man in this Qur'an all kinds of parable, and most people are reluctant to accept it unless bad-faith". (Surat al-Isra 17: 89)



"And indeed We made for mankind in this Qur'an all kinds parables. And if you come to them with the evidence, will those who disbelieve say, "You are nothing but the people who ruin". (Surah Ar Rum 30: 58)



People who have been wandering in the real world of genuine, eager to share these experiences with others. But to reveal the true real world was not easy, therefore they are the spiritual traveler, choosing the words of the parable in the form of a series of poetry as a means of deliver and at the same time encourage the reader to experience the real world, which must be preceded by an encounter with the Divine rabbi.


Is it possible we can meet Allah on this earth? This is the question that the debates of mankind throughout the ages. But a Wijayakusuma Masridrani put it bluntly in a quatrain: My Lord In Terdalamku Cloak.


Lord

I can see you

Because of your gift

Love and love-thy

Really want me to meet you

In robes terdalamku


In these poems, he wants to tell us, that an experience to see and witness God is a necessity if God wills it to a servant of his beloved and cherished him. And in the Qur'an Allah gives the opportunity



"Come back thou to Tuham you and surrender your self to Him before there comes unto you the punishment then you are beyond help". (Surah Az-Zumar 39: 54)



'And at once you return to your Lord .... "(Surah Az Dzariyat 51: 50)



"... He who expects the encounter with the Lord, then do it sholeh charity ...". (Surat al-Kahf 18: 110)


However, as a work of literature, poetry verses are inscribed by the Sufis, including Masridrani Wijayakusuma work, often not easily understood meaning by readers and listeners, thus sometimes giving birth or a heretic false accusations like that has happened in Al-Hallaj. Listening to it in their poems must first explore their inner meaning, do not just look at the meaning of birth. Like a pearl, a poem they must first open the skin to be able to know its contents. Do not be lulled by the beauty of language, because usually it's just a symbolic expression, Masridrani Wijayakusuma reminded of this in his poem entitled: Language Search


Language words, people who make

Language words, diversity is difficult to digest

Language of God only a few who receive

Language of God does not hide the real


The sentence breaks down into words

The words are broken down into letters

Letter decompose to the point

Point to explain the language of God


Do not be entangled with the language

Do not see the figure that says

Digest delivered, strain in the peace

Look at yourself in the stillness

Select and bijaklah to be the intelligent person


Mencercahkan point of view of the inner

Expanding into the tub majestic moonlight

Gift achieved with determination and seriousness


With the poem, once again, Masridrani Wijayakusuma, invites us not to be entangled with language. But seek point which will explain the language of God, he said. Because, to borrow a philosopher said: "Small is Beautiful", Small is Beautiful spot, find the beauty and majesty that the point, that point ba.



Only to Allah we seek guidance and help him, so that the efforts of this small ant can provide light dot of light for Muslims in secret digging his Lord. Verily Allah is the Almighty to give instructions and power to grant any hope of His servants.



"Our Lord, bestow on us Mercy from Thyself, and dispose for us our light and forgive us, Thou has power over all things"
